I've always loved the work of Miles Redd, and this fact was only reinforced when I ran across this room on Style Court belonging to Chassie Post, pulled from the March 2001 issue of House Beautiful. The peonies...oh the peonies. The zebra rug. The white floors. The slipcovers. The blue walls! If I could snap my fingers and live in this home, I would in a second. I'm with ya on the peonies...I'm thinking peonies in my kitchen for spring...red and pink and aqua...brilliant combo...
I love how eclectic this room is...a bit modern, a bit shabby, a bit glam...a bit of everything but tied together so nicely!
And the old-fashioned girl-- what is it, a decal? A mural? Can't tell. BUt I love it.
I love how when you go with this style, even a decade later it still looks fresh. Classic colors, classic shapes=perfection
