Gosh you guys, thank you so much for all those fantastic birthday wishes yesterday!!! It was so much fun getting the alerts on my phone as I was out and about celebrating the day away. Each one made me smile and realize how much I absolutely love blogging and sharing the turquoise love with you all!Speaking of turquoise love, how spiffy is that glossy backsplash?! I don't think I'd ever get tired of looking at it while I stirred away my macaroni and cheese (just being honest with my skills!) I do love how modern and sleek it all is...and the white certainly doesn't hurt either! (Found via House to Home.) Thanks again everyone for making my birthday so special! Your comments make all the difference in my day, yesterday and everyday! :)

this is so gorgeous. i love it so much more than the run of the mill tiles and mosaics! it also creates an amazing backdrop for other shots of color like the hot pink apron and the green bowl and tray.
as we know from all your wonderful posts, turquoise can look so different with every color with which it's paired, so by removing the pink and green and adding in black or gray or yellow or brown, or ANY color, really, you'd get yourself a whole new look.
LOVE IT!
i especially love the pops of fuchsia, orange and lime green against the white. those additional colors really round out this vibrant look.
