I just love this hall/stairway designed by Ruthie Sommers more than anything. If it wasn't painted the pretty Blue Seafoam by Benjamin Moore, it wouldn't be nearly anything to write home about (or mention on here for that matter!)
LOVE this pale, pretty Blue Seafoam color, and I'm impressed at how many turquoise and pale blue shades Benjamin Moore seems to offer.
Ever since starting to read your blog, I've been seriously tempted to paint my condo hallway turquoise, though I'm not sure if it'd go with the baseboard color and floor color that I have there (they're not white). Still, it's very tempting. I have some blues in one wall of my kitchen and some light and dark blues in a Moroccan mosaic table in a breakfast nook (and arched doorways leading to the kitchen and from the hallway to the living area), so it's tempting to work the Moroccan vibe a little bit but without going overboard) ...
But regardless of what I do with my hallway (it's a boring white at the moment), I'll keep reading your wonderful blog and ooh-ing and ah-ing over the gorgeous photos ! :)
I wish I knew the Dulux equivalents of Benjamin Moore paint colours. This shade of blue is lovely. Reminds me of the blue shade I used in the armoire of my studio. I'm also a huge fan of the floorboards.
I love that sparkling clean color mixed with the distressed condition of the staircase! I also love seeing exposed wood sometimes, too. It seems like I always want to paint over everything!
The scene reminds me of somewhere you would walk into to get a glass of lemonade after working in the yard, or coming from the beach!
I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. Great picture, Erin! Have you used any blues worth sharing? It's so hard to pick the perfect shade (that undoubtedly lives in your mind's eye). xoxo
