The painted shelves in this dining room photographed by Donna Griffith really highlight the beautiful collection of white dishes. I can't even imagine how boring it would look if it was just painted white. The loveliness is only heightened with the matching blue chairs. So pretty!

Oh So Pretty

Ahhh, so lovely! And I love the pop of color from the vase of flowers on the table!
The contrast between the white china and the blue walls is just stunning! Love the pop of color with the purple flowers as well!
LOVE it. Thanks for sharing. xoxo
Aside from being a happy room it's incredibly timeless.

Love this!
Love this!!
I have been a lurker for a while and your blog has been such an inspiration to me. I am in the middle of a great room redo in a dusty robins egg blue. I am painting my furniture all white and my trim is white. I do love this photo you have posted....I may have to make my chairs the same as the wall color. Thank you for such a awesome blog....I would love for you to visit mine. I would like to feature your blog in a post just before I reveal my redo if that is OK with you. I have beautiful new granite counter tops coming in the next few weeks that are a dark, dusty robins egg with pink, white and black flecks in it. When they are installed, I will be ready to show everyone. You can see the paint color in process if you scroll down several posts!

love the gradation of color, whether intentional or just manifested in this photograph. It makes it a much more interesting piece.
Love the room!

Hi Erin, I just took a peek at your photo page and saw that you've been to Norway (that's where I come from)! That's really cool - it's quite the trip from the US. Which stave church did you visit?
I'm new here but have to say this is just lovely and timeless. It almost looks Swedish.
I JUST LOVE THIS.......So beautiful.
soooo pretty and i love that the chairs and table don't match.
