I love the quietness this photograph taken by Björn Wallander evokes. This 1859 home belongs to Amy Hamilton, and was featured in the Summer 2007 issue of O at Home. Amy and her husband rescued the farmhouse located on six acres of central Ohio farmland. The dilapidated cottage didn't even have running water until 1985!

I love it. I love it
it's really pretty. I love the little sitting area and that old cabinet! Quite lovely, Erin.
So peaceful. Love the architecture and distressed armoire.
That's a beautiful wall color. What a lovely peaceful room.
it DOES look so tranquil...so contemplative! Lovely
Dreamy... the cabinet is the best thing in the room, I think.
Love the mood of the room and, of course, the color, but I don't think I will ever understand distressed paint. Can someone explain it please.
Jo
It's gorgeous - I checked out BW's interiors portfolio and he really has some beautiful photos there!
Thanks for your nice comment Erin! By the way, I borrowed a photo from you for my Decorology guest post; I linked to you of course.
Have a lovely week!
