Joni of Cote de Texas recently did a fantastic post giving us bloggers a tutorial on cameras and photography. This image of a Los Angeles bedroom was an example she used on how professional photography can really make a difference. I'd agree. But I think I'd love the bedroom even if the picture wasn't perfect! (You can click on the image to make it bigger...it's quite the picture!) Speaking of Cote de Texas, have you guys been listening to The Skirted Roundtable? If you're a design blogger, I'd definitely recommend it. I've learned so much since they started them!

Please bring my afternoon tea to the suite. I'm lounging in my haven for the remainder of the day.
Stunning - breathtaking -- exquisite -- no one word is adequate for this awesome room.
That is incredible!!
Found you on Cote de Texas, and so glad I did! Just last night I asked my mom-in-law if it was so wrong that I wanted everyroom in my house to have some shade of blue. Guess not!
Could this be heaven??
What's not to like?! This room is airy, roomy, serene, inviting. You have everything here - a comfortable looking bed, a fireplace, a sitting area and that fantastic view through all those french doors!
Congratulations....I think you've found the perfect bedroom if ever there was one :) It's just amazing.
I grew up with a mother that loved turquoise - she wore it all the time, but lacked the confidence to bring those touches into her home. I've since acquired some of my grandmother's turquoise pieces and interestingly enough found a great lamp (turquoise base) at Target this past year....so, all this to say...you've got me challenged to have a bit of fun.
* As I sat here embarrassingly DROOOOLING over the sheer light-hearted beauty of all this, my husband came into my study, saw the pic, wiped the droooool off my chin & sweetly n' politely said "It's kind of BLAND, honey!"~~~ I ALMOST fell out of my CHAIR!!!!!!!!!! "BLAND?!?!"~~~ BLANNNND, he said?!?!?! OMG I thought I had taught him better than THAT!!!!! Geeeezzz!!!!
(Men, ya gotta love 'em, tho!!!)~
"Beautious"~ crisp, clean, casual, comfy, uncluttered and a true "dream-maker", IMHO! I could get LOST in all this strikingly calm beauty~~~
Many thanks for the treat,
Linda in AZ *
P.S. LOVE seeing LUMPS in the bed~~~ how "HUMAN"!!! Smiles~~~ Linda
