I just stumbled across The Keith House at Graeme Park. Have any of you visited this park and seen this pretty Georgian home? According to their site, Graeme Park is a 42-acre historic park, featuring the Keith House, the only surviving residence of a Colonial Pennsylvania Governor. The mansion has remained virtually intact since the late 18th century. Go here to learn all about this neat home and for a little tour. But you must go check out this Picasa album to see tons more images of the property and even the inside of the home!

This place is just bursting w/ history! As i was scrolling through the slideshow of pics, I kept thinking WOW, if those walls could talk! Just imagine the stories.
Oh I know!! Isn't that neat to think about??
Oh I just love old houses like that. I could totally see myself living in something like that...renovated of course.
I'm with Anne! I would love it, but it would have to be "done" b/c I wouldn't know the first thing about restoring something like this. So pretty. I wish more people would pick interesting colors for paint and trim on the exterior of their homes.
although the color is simple and soft, it really makes a BOLD statement!
The history is so fascinating, isn't it? Neat info about the physic garden and it's uses for cooking, medicine and aroma. Loved all the info about the interior. Wouldn't it be nice to step back in time for a bit and enjoy a whole different pace of life?
First of all, let me just say that your blog is, by far, one of the most fascinating blogs I've come across yet! Who knew there was so much turquoise in the world? lol
The house is actually really beautiful-you did a really great job describing the interior layout :)
