More from the Hamptons

When Desire to Inspire posted images from the Hamptons based interior design firm Mabley Handler, I almost passed out. Clearly, The House of Turquoise and Hamptons Style go hand-in-hand. I'm going to pretend I'm off to my own gorgeous summer home (although I'm just going to my brother's in the opposite side of town). Have a great weekend! -Mabley Handler Interior Design via Desire to Inspire

Lily Pond

This is Martha Stewart's East Hampton home on Lily Pond Lane. I guess I shouldn't expect less from her. Its gorgeous. Wouldn't it be so grand to have a beautiful summer retreat? One day, one day.... -The Martha Blog

Black and White....and Blue!

Black and white is always sophisticated, but throw in some blue and it takes it to a whole new level. I especially love that first image. That door is fabulous. -BHG via Terramia

Thank you!

I just want to give a big thanks to Terri Sapienza and the Washington Post for including House of Turquoise in Blog Watch this week. What an honor...again! Welcome to any new readers!

Clean and Modern Nursery

I have adored the turquoise and red combo for so long, so its fun to see it pop up here and there in places other than my own home. I can easily envision having this nursery/child's room in my own home someday (I doubt I could ever keep any room this uncluttered though!). I love all the prints, that modern crib, the floor, the birds and trees!! -Ohdeedoh
