Colorful and Fun Pool House

This fun Florida pool house was designed by Scott Sanders. The owner wanted the house to be reminiscent her childhood so in addition to games like Operation and Candyland, she decorated the house with huge 80's photographs of her parents and brother. Oh for cute. LOVE those turquoise tiles. -Scott Sanders thanks to Jane at Atticmag

Oh So Pretty Living Room

Ooh I love these shades. So pretty. This is exactly why I have white couches and walls (and no kids). All the colors and patterns just pop. -HousetoHome

My Kind of Curb Appeal

This is the kind of house my friends all roll their eyes at. Erin drives by, points and says "There's my house!". Unfortunately, the house isn't mine, its Carrie's and ever since she moved in her neighbors keep asking her when they are going to paint it. Thanks Carrie! I love it!

Your Blue Room

Last month I Like Design had an entire post devoted to Your Blue Room, including the U2 lyrics: "It's time to go again to your blue room / got some questions to ask of you in your blue room". Love it. Check out the post for the rest of the lovely blue rooms. -I Like Design

Fresh and Modern Kitchen

I love the glossy finish on the lacquered cabinets (too bad Ikea doesn't offer this color!) and the etched-glass backsplash, not to mention the beautiful maple floor. If I had a kitchen like this I swear I'd learn to cook. -HousetoHome

Turquoise Nursery for a Modern Tot

This fun little nursery was put together by Elsie Marley, another fabulously creative mind who makes toys, clothes, and accessories by hand for the modern tot for sale on Etsy. I would have loved that chalkboard when I was little. What a great freecycle find. -Elsie Marley

Sophisticated Santa Monica Home

This fabulous Santa Monica home designed by LA-based Woodson and Rummerfield has a color palette I could live with. Oh how I love that fireplace. -Woodson & Rummerfield's House of Design
