Karina from El beso sent me a photo she took of this amazing home in Lima, Peru. Isn't the patio something else with all of those Peruvian churches?! Wow. Karina has many more pictures on her blog, including some great interior shots. Check them out here! Thanks Karina! Your photographs are beautiful!

Erin, I am so glad you liked this pictures, this home is incredible, the owner is a fascinating woman and Las Pallas, her shop, is a must to see place for anyone visiting Lima.
Very nice. Those hanging churches are something else.
I'm not sure if you got my email, as I just read in junk mail that it failed? Anyhow, thanks for tagging me! I haven't done it yet as I am still trying to think of 6 unique things about myself that I have not shared on my blog! :) Have a great weekend!!! Candi
The churches on the wall are put on the roofs of the houses in Quinua Ayacucho, They are given by the godfather and are for protection. Most of the churches are between 50 and 100 years old.
This is taken in the patio of my home in Barranco, Lima,Perú and they are part of my private collection...

Wow, those churches on the walls are SO unique! Mari - your patio is Amazing!! And I have to tell you that Peruvian food is the BEST. I'm very picky about food and it's hard to get a good Peruvian Ceviche or Lomo Saltado (probably spelled wrong) here in the states.
Cheers,
Karen
Mari, your home is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for your comment and for taking the time to tell us more about the churches. What a wonderful tradition! Your collection is unbelievable. :)
How beautiful! I'm off to check out Marie's blog for more photos!
